The telecommunicationindustrie has massive problems with abuse of mobile phones. They loose a significant amount of their revenue from that (up to 20% was reported). Creditcardmisuse is also a big issue. Since there is so many money involved there exists a pletoria of countermeasures. Different methods of KI are in use. Recently i programmed a simple rule-based fraud-detection-system for a telecommunication firma, so i am somewhat informed. A skilled student could write an tool to detect computercheaters in a few weeks. It would be an interesting task (hint:) Oliver
