It is my understanding that your own computer will increase the rating strength of your chess program by approx. 40 elo points with each DOUBLING of your processor speed. If this is true with the Pentiums, how does this apply to the Athlons since they get more instructions per clock cycle than do the Pentiums? Thank you all for your information.
