The difference beween your and my Palm should be easy to calculate as you can
run the "SpeedIndex" on yours and then numbers can be compaired - I agree a
factor of 2 sounds likely.

The speed difference beween the Pentium 90 and the 486-dx50 could be compaired
with Comet. I am really no hardware expert but I suspect it might be bigger than
you think due to different computer architecture and I am not sure you would do
the Tiger a favour.
