I think I couldn't hide that I don't usually use that options :o) Because in this case I would probably have mentioned more. But I took a look into the menues again, and found: F12, database window. Load the database with the positions (probably created like described in the previous posting). Mark all the game lines which contain them: SHIFT + cursor down, if they are after each other (if not, use CTRL + mouse). From the menu, choose "Tools/Analysis/Full Analysis", or Alt-Y. The Full Analysis dialogue comes up, where you can set the search time etc. (if you want an analysis in each case, the threshold should be set to 0 I think). Then, you choose the engine and hash size to use for the analysis. Then, Fritz will analyse one "game" (although it will be only one position in your case) automatically one after the other. You can choose between replace or append for the storage, in the Full Analysis dialogue. Depending on the time chosen, this is an "overnight" option. I chose "append", and have just tried it for 3 positions, containing one move each only, and 3 seconds analysis time per move. Fritz inserted a 2-ply variation and comment symbol in 2 or the 3... Probably, the games (positions) should at least contain one move, which Fritz should comment with a variation, except it's the move it thinks is best... I don't have enough experience with that function to tell more about it. Hopefully, you can figure out the rest. Take a look in the F1 help also. HTH, M.Scheidl
