I do not think that his response was entirely "off-topic", because it replied directly to an on-topic statement that you had made (that Nunn knew nothing about computer chess). He questioned your argument, or rather, your STYLE of argument (although, certainly, not in the best or in the most convincing manner). Admittedly, though, you made a statement that is very difficult to prove -- do you honestly believe that "Nunn knew NOTHING about computer chess"?) Also, as you should well know, there have been many long "discussions" (specifically, those involving you and Bob Hyatt, or others involving Dann Corbit) that have had very similar posts that were not moderated. jm p.s. Well, the good thing is, you'll have a completely new set of moderators very soon, at least....
