Not at all, he didn't want a reaction to hear anything about what i find from GM Nunn. Note his GM title is based upon beating HUMANS not being a computer expert, since i am FM however i get the feeling people do not understand that my FM title is independant from being a programmer from a computerchess program. If Lagershausen who has been brainwashed by German magazines who write in favour of a certain program, where Nunn also writes regurarly columns in, then i would have patience with him if he had asked for me to show why i said i do not regard Nunn as someone who knows much from computerchess. HE DID NOT WRITE THAT HOWEVER. He was definitely trying to insult me PERSONAL. He was busy with me and saying kind of i am an idiot who he doesn't take serious. This where i have made a program. Played a lot against chessprograms, and also happen to be a pretty strong player (completely independant from expertise on computerchess, though helpful to see whether the thing makes bad moves). In fact the rating difference between Nunn and me is 262 rating points. 2312 versus 2584 (that's november 2001 list though, not sure whether either of us has dropped or gone up sincethen). 2500+ means GM, so Nunn is GM. I'm FM with little chance of ever getting GM. In the eyes of the average german, who are still having a very authocratic way of thinking about experts, that means he knows more about computerchess than i have. *any* question regarding that subject i would accept from Lagershausen. However he wasn't out for a computerchess technical question. He was out for a flamewar. WELL HE GOT IT BECAUSE OF THE WAY THINGS GET MODERATED HERE. Now you add up in the fire of course. you love wars. We should do some boxing with lawyers. Just give me an excuse i'd say, i can find your adress easily because you live close! >He complains about you using 'knows nothing about computerchess' as an >argument (to guarantee that you are always right) often and against several >different people.
