For code that uses the ESP (i.e. "32 bit"), I think the K6-2 is not so well
suited in terms of chess-speed.....

While I dislike the company, for best "future-proofing", buy Intel.

Programs that prefer K6-2 to P2 at same clock tend to be "8/16 bit" and tend to
enjoy the larger L1 caches on K6-2.

My DM 0.01 anyway!

PS: Of course, by the end of R10-VA, I believe the K-cooled AMDs will be
sweating!  So, if Ed is to offer, I will happily buy the K6-2/450 at the right
(heavily used) S/H price... :-) If only a loan, please communicate the offer to
Kryotech
