My program has had knowledge about these kind of positions for some time, and it's won some nice game thanks to it instead of being crushed chancelessy. However... In this position it would have lost just as chanceless, or even worse. It goes like this: about the start of the attack, it realizes black will get in trouble on the kingside. It also thinks white's king position will get too open to be good. It sees that the center is totally locked. So it decides that the best course of action for black is to try to move its king over to the center, and it wants to do the same thing when playing white. Oops! More work to do here :( -- GCP
