Mike, Based on roughly 20 games played over the internet (manual moves) against very equal competition (players I usually draw against), I have seen a noticable improvement in strength. I did discover 2 draw backs however. The first was a time management problem that was able to correct with a few setting changes. The second problem I had was a "serious" or "fatal" (can't remember which) error during one game. This had never happened with 7.0.0.6 even after hundreds of games. But overall, I like the update.
