I have upgraded my ASUS T2P4 motherboard with a K6-2 300Mhz. I overclock it to
4*83=332 Mhz (2.3 core voltage). My system is total stable and faster
(especially in chess programs - i testet Fritz5, Shredder 2, Rebel 9) than my
pentium 2 300Mhz machine I use at work. I often use 32bit compilers and office
applications but I haven't testet 3D games - the K6-2 is a fantastic processor!
With games that will use the 3D-Now functionality (or DirectX 6) of the K6-2
this programs will fly too.
I get tips for the Asus T2P4/K6 combination at Kalle's web page at
http://www.jump.net/~lcs/kalle/index.htm
