I think that

after 38. ... hxg4 39. hxg4 f4 40. Bb4 e4+,

41. fxe4 draws: 41. ... Nxg4 42. e5! Nxe5 (42. ... Kd5 43. Bc3 Nh6 44. Ke2 g4
45. d7 =) 43. Ke4 =.
