Subject: Real life computerchess meeting in Berlin/Germany on Sunday

A group of people (computerchess fans, chessprogrammers also allowed if they
behave well ;) ) in the German capital meet from time to time to talk about
computerchess or any other topics they are interested in.

This weekend another of those most conspiratorial meetings will take place.

It is rumoured that the mighty Heiner Marxen, programmer of Chest
(http://www.drb.insel.de/~heiner/), a very nice guy and even more clever than
you would expect if you only know his mighty Chest matesolver, will be there.

Another regular is Thorsten Czub, maybe the most controversial computerchess
expert of them all, who knows everything about them progs after watching only
one game and His Royal Highness of the New Paradigm himself - quite a nice and
friendly guy IRL.

Not to forget Ingo Bauer, Gromit and Yace tester, and renowned expert and fan of
Amateur chessprogramming.

And who else?

Well .., in fact simply everyone who happens to show up.

Where? - Beim Griechen, Ecke Prenzlauer Str. / Danziger Str., Name Apollon /
Berlin,Germany
When ? - Sonntag 21.04.02 19.00 Uhr.
Who ? - Let's wait and see.

Did I really make sure to anger all of the above? - yes, I think so ;) . Well,
I hope at least I also reached _you_ - the lady/guy living in or close to
Berlin/Germany and interested in a real life computerchess meeting. I can assure
you from experience there will be _very_ few technical talks way over your head
, instead the meetings tend to be much fun, inspiring and interesting.

Also plans for another computerchess tournament in Berlin in 2002 might be
discussed ( for a nice impression from the first one if you look for fun, please
refer to http://www.quarkchess.de/belct/,
http://www.quarkchess.de/PC/BELCT2001/, or instead maybe better
http://www.vrichey.de/berlin2001/ if you are more interested in some kind of
serious information).

See you,
Peter
