You are the one going to organize this, right?

If so, why don't you specify it however you want? Maybe you can talk to Tony
about making it an official event, or even if it is not an official event, at
least ask for his advice.

I don't really care what this ends up being, as long as it isn't something
really strange.

I would be happy to do an open hardware tournament, an open hardware single
processor microcomputer tournament, or a uniform platform tournament on provided
hardware.

If you want an open hardware event so you can bring Cilkchess on something big,
more is the fun. Frankly, this is what I would most enjoy.

As far as prizes or titles, I don't care even slightly about this.

I would like something to be set up with a hotel so all the out of town people
can stay in approximately the same place if they choose, and I would also like
to know where the nearest amusement park is, and if it is open that time of
year.

Oh yes, and please let the Red Sox be in town on one of the off days, but this
is probably asking too much :-)

If you need any help, please let me know.
