No.  Unless the ICCA thing falls through.  If it does, then I will
organize it any way I see fit but of course I would want it to be
something everyone would want to come to.   If the ICCA sanctions
it they will organize it and I will help if they want me to.  I'll
tell them you are willing to help if you can.

It's going to be the World computer chess championships.

This is the same way I feel.  I'm really just looking for a way to
have another event and talk to everyone in person and socialize.

The hotel thing worries me.  In Boston things are high but we might
negotiate a better price.  The Mariott is the closest but it's also
the highest priced!   We will probably solicit people to share their
homes for those who cannot afford lodging.  I am also offering to
share my apartment with one or two folks or more if they don't mind
sleeping on the floor!
