Python/Tk great high level language. A load of Gotchas in programming. A bit of
a mismatch in philosophy between Python and Tk design. Dominant leader figure,
both a pro an con. Some radical changes can occur between versions, it's still
young. Tcl/Tk is the glue language par excellence, and it's low level. It's made
to glue programs together into large systems. Simple and stable syntax. IMO,
simple but 'inhuman' syntax. A few people have problems with the literal
application of evaluation in Tcl. Perfect intergration with Tk. An even toss up.
I have made wari programs in both. Python is more forgiving but prone to
harboring subtle bugs. Nothing subtle about Tcl, and it's really really simple
to learn.
