Guildenstern only generates legal moves, and I recently found a bug where an illegal move is generated due to a revealed attack along the rank after an ep capture. The code was simply not set up to handle two pieces moving off a rank at once like that. I checked -- that bug had been in there since my very first version. I'm hoping this accounts for most of the unexplained crashes I've had over the years.... :) -paul
