If you get 20% out of intel c++ then you must rewrite your application and program it better, like streamlining branches more. I *never* get 20% just like that. I get 20% from K7 versus P3, that's about it. Perhaps DIEP's just too big to optimize that well. Right now i'm fiddling with different parameters for DIEP with intel c++. With some luck i get as fast as msvc sp4 + procpack. >aloha > martin
