When I _know_ Fritz doesn't have any 2700+ rating... True, Chess Tiger, Junior and Rebel are the 2700+ programs. Firtz top performance is 2678 on a 4x500mhz box and 2612 on a 2x1000mhz box. Those are all 40/2 time controls and no lower performances are posted for those boxes. Fritz also has a 2800+ performance on a 2x1000mhz box at 60min + 10secs. Those are the facts. see: http://home.interact.se/~w100107/manmachine.htm On the 8x box for the upcoming GM Kramnik match, my opinion is that Fritz is 2750+. However, since this will be a match where GM Kramnik has months or over a year to prepare, I expect Fritz to give a performance of 2650+. But then again, most 2700 GM's would be reduced to the mid 2600's in a match where GM Kramnik prepared for over a year. > >It obviously comes from some sort of "opinion"... You should read before you comment. Even if your opinion is different.
