Also if you note the history it is already doing very well with the egtbs
enabled. I will disable them. It plays computers and humans. I only restrict the
time controls and rating within I believe 800 points. A small note is that it
has ONLY lost to programs. Not a single human has beat it, not even the select
few GM/IM's that have played.
I ran on ICC using an Athlon XP 1900+ for a while using Crafty as well. Thus far
I have seen _zero_ difference in rating going to the older PIII 550. That
computer also runs my web server that is _always_ active, but I must say not
very busy. I am thinking of taking it a step further and lowering the hardware
to a PII 300 I picked up to use as a linux box.
It is also using a book that I made. It is not the default one and is very good.
I have _never_ seen it come out of book behind. The most I have ever seen it
come out of book ahead was mate in 9. That was vs a 1900 player on ICC.
