Pavel, Delphi is an excellent language for general code development (IMO the best!!). For chess it is good but probably doesn't have all of the speed optimisation of 'c' i.e. programs may be ~ 20% slower than 'C'. You can download a development environment from www.borland.com Regards, Steve
