WinXP Home edition. Thumbs down. No value for money. Pro is so-so. But if you want to run stable and compatible. Win2k Pro is an excellent option. DOS is still runnable there. As for Athlon heat. It's a deliberate design decision, not a flaw. Adequate cooling will suffice. As for waiting for something better. Set a buy date and buy the fastest on that day. Else you might just as well wait for the Hammer chip. MvH Dan Andersson
