This is in contrast to Frans >Morsch who spend 100% of his time developing Fritz. I do not know how much time programmers spend on developing their program. The fact that a programmer has not another job does not mean that he spends 100% of his time in developing the program. I believe that programmers usually spend a lot of time of other things. Part of the programmers waste time on reading and posting in CCC and I believe that even programmers who do not post in CCC do other things that are not chess programming. Other may prefer other things but I do not believe that there is a simgle programmer who waste all his time about programming. It is possible that Mark Uniacke wastes less time about improving his program relative to Frans Morsch but I have not enough data to know the average time per day that the programmers waste on their programs.
