Well, when I said I wanted to explain how the computer works I was thinking
about saying things like, "the computer runs a list of simple instructions" and
"the compiler takes your program and turns it into a program that your computer
understands and can run." Nothing too technical :)

Well my mom tells me that I've known her since the day she was born, but I don't
remember it :) We grew up in the same church and we've been friends/best
friends/dating on and off for about 6 years now. I think I'm safe :) I think the
programming aspect is more because she wants to be able to have a clue about one
of my main interests, although she did seem very excited about the idea of
learning how to make webpages as someone else suggested in this thread.
