Good question, I don't like it either, but many people here at CCC do not stick to the usual nettiquette for proper quoting. Perhaps we can educate them a little ;) "Quoting is a necessary courtesy to the readers of your reply. It helps to clarify the point you are making, as well as remind others of what you are replying to. Only quote the relevant part(s) of the message, and NEVER quote a long message in it's entirety. Everyone got it the first time just like you did and it's a waste of time and bandwidth. The absolute worst thing you can do is to repeat a lengthy message (including the sig!) and at the end say nothing more than "Yeah! What he said."
