Anand's playing fast time controls, an unknown computer program running on a 450 mhz computer. Is our memory so short we don't remember the splash Chess Genius made playing Garry Kasparov at fast time controls and just running on a slow Pentium. Let me make it clear. I love Rebel and the programming that Ed has done. But lets not lose our heads yet. I think some other programs could have done as well at fast time controls. For me the real test is the 40 moves in 2 hours games. Now I don't expect Rebel to win but I would like to see some fight out of the program. If that happens then I would call the anti-gm programming a success.
