Has anyone kept a record of success stories made by micro computers versus humans. Or is there a web site that has this summary. Maybe milestones is too strong a word but some kind of site would be nice that would showcase the accomplishments of the many programmers in this area of computer chess. Like a hall of fame for chess programmers. It seems Deep Blue has been showcased often and deservedly so but what about the rest of the programmers? Events like Rebel-Anand,Hiarcs-Hergott,Crafty-Mississippi State Championship, Genius-Kasparov (as Mark Young's post refreshed my memory of this one). Also stuff like the first GM to lose to a micro. Even the game/30 event on the net last year (the one where all the micros did so well). Maybe some computer chess enthusiast could make this part of their web site.
