Nope. Popped the RH 7.1 CD in, did the 'linux dd' for my RAID controller, and
the next thing I know, it was installed. ;)

I haven't even installed a single program on it. As a matter of fact, I just
got startx to work. (It hates my monitor.)

It boots fine, everything works. Pinging great on the network. Everything
seems swell. Type 'TERM=scoansi' and it crashes and burns.

I've been using Windows since I was 14. I've never in my life had to call
support. But I am sure their support is just like anyone elses. Slow,
unhelpful, and a pain.

Every piece of HW in that machine is in the "certified" in RHs HCL for 7.1.

LOL ;)

I have a Linux box at work that some clients use over an ISDN line for various
tasks. Well, it stopped backing up last week, and when I did an uptime, I
freaked. 101 days. 40+ users. Rebooted, and everything's fine. ;)

I've setup tons of Linux boxes. But the first one I build for MYSELF is a big
'ol pain in the ass. My luck.
