Subject: Athlon vs Pentium????

Hi Everyone,

I have a question: is it true that the latest AMD Athlon chip is that much
faster than the latest Pentium 4 for chess programs?? Could you give me some
practical examples. Like how much stronger would Fritz 7 play or how much faster
can you retrieve information from a chess database? Any other non-technical
information would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you for your help.
