I've always heard it's 4 pawns or equivalent material, not 5.

That's probably going to be a little longer than he'd like to wait. It's still
going to be several years before the 6 piece tablebases are done. The 7 man
tablebases will take a LOT longer to generate than the 6 man. I can't really say
for certain how long it would take, but it wouldn't suprise me if it was still
10 years before they were completed.
