I am very satisfied with my dual amd mp, but you would think this 4800 mhz Intel would be fast with smp chess software. it will be very expensive to put the whole package together. I dont know why a company would buy these intel work stations, when amd is about half as much. i think the days of intel saying amd has hardware problems is over. lots of amd units without any problems now. kburcham http://www.intel.com/pressroom/archive/releases/20020423comp_a.htm?iid=Homepage+Update_020423b&
