Your computer must have been busy with other programmes and or on the net. Also memory and resources may have been still in use even if all apps. were closed. I ran the Fritz 7 Fritzmark with 64 MB Hash on my slow PIII 500 and got a score of 553+0 and 248Kn/sec. I made sure I had full resources and fresh memory after a complete shutdown then restarted the computer cold and turned of _all_ background applications. Terry
