I have an AMD 1.4 Ghz. The better version, and for certain reasons (to do with living accomodations) I havn't been able to use it much since I bought it, when it was about the best at the time. How does this compare for chess to the best that is now available on a single proccessor? And how much longer (estimatingly) might I have before I will be longing for a new proccessor, being that I always want to have nearest to the best chessplaying standard available. I was guessing that I should stay very happy with this until AMD reaches 4.2 Ghz. Thanks alot for any clarifications, for me and others! S.Taylor
