When analysing the recent Rebel vs Anand match with Rebel 9, has anyone found a significant difference between the way R 10 played and what R 9 would have played? not withstanding the excellent showing against Anand I do not expect Rebel 10 to be any different in strength from rebel 9. When rebel 9 was being released, a substantial strength increase had been promised over rebel8 but in reality in spite of a "better opening book", "learning features", "better optimization for faster processors", and a "significantly stronger engine", (each of which should have contributed to 25 point increase in strength, according to Ed Schroeder)the eventual difference in points is only a handful. Same will be true of Rebel 10 as well! what do the bete testers think? Rajen Gupta
