HIARCS was the one top-level program that was available in a Mac version.
They stuck with it for two versions, then stopped.

One suspects they did not feel they were making enough money to justify
the effort of maintaining it. Given the advertising budget of the competition
( Chessmaster 6000 ) and the sales of HIARCS Mac mainly through specialist
stores like ICD and GambitSoft, there were definite challenges to getting
sales.
