Hi Jeroen.

You concern is IMO right.

When i watched games between hiarcs8 against all kind of programs i saw
that hiarcs8 e.g. is throwing all programs OUT OF BOOK in all kind of openings.
Very early.

I think this makes much sense.
And it stops the SENSELESS copying of Noomen/Kure opening books.

Because when you throw the opponents out of their illegal copied
Noomen/Kure stuff, it just not happening on board.

The games i saw make more fun. Because the engines compute in positions
<20 moves. I have even seen <10 moves.

I don't know if this is the work of Eric Hallsworth or Mark or whoever was
involved in this kind of "throw the opponent out of known terretory-book",
but i like it !

Also it gives new work for you and Alex to find anti-throw out of opening book
variations :-))

Be happy.

The stealing guys are stupid IMO. they copy big and long lines forgetting that
you will find out and create a reaction in the books.
