I know there are basic rights regardless of the license the
software comes with (fair use?), but I'm not a copyright lawyer.
I was under the impression converting the book to a format more
convenient to me was legal, but Jeroen seems to claim it's
not.

Whatever be of it, I've deleted the book and as far as I
am concerned the issue is settled. (I haven't really deleted
all my Rebel software, of course ;)
