"As ChessBase has acquired the rights of nearly all profesional programs (top programs) I think it's only fair towards the fans of the Shredder Classic GUI to offer a Shredder Classic version of (all) those top programs. Especially the youngest shoot of the ChessBase family, Hiarcs 8 should be offered in a version for both the ChessBase GUI's (so both Shredder Classic and ChessBase native GUI -JvD) What future will there be for this Shredder Classic GUI -which is very userfriendly for people who use it for analysis purposes- when there are no (more) top engines for it, as these are only available for the ChessBase *native* GUI? I would appreciate if many chess friends would support this call to ChessBase." (JvD: thus happens - some respondents do support this call in their answers) (translated and to be read at your own risk :)- JvD)
