Hi! As the other posters here already mentioned Thomas Lagershausen (and others from the FCP-forum and the ChessBits-forum) want to do a petition to Chessbase that they publish their engines for a use with the both ChessBase-GUIs (Fritz7 and Shredder6 classic). We hope that a lot of chess-friends around the world support this petition by writing a mail to chessbase or by declaring their wish in the different fora. It doesnt mean we dont want an engine to be published for the Fritz-7 but to give all users the possibility to use Hiarcs8 and future engines ALSO with the Shredder-6-classic. So if you agree to this wish please say your wish to chessbase. A factory is doing what the market demands so they should know what the market wants. Peter
