It might be king safety related.  Tinker also finds Nxh5 in about the same time
on my laptop as Crafty does.  However, when using only material and piece square
tables in a "fast eval" mode, Tinker does not find the move after a couple of
minutes.  Gerbil (v1 and v2) does not find it either.  So, an eval with king
safety terms is a factor (Gerbil v2 has some, but not enough I guess).
