Subject: Advice Please: Best Freeware Chess Database Manager

Hi Guys,
I apologise for not knowing what's available, but I'm perfectly happy with my
Rebel Databases & thus have had no interest in the latest developments in this
field.

With Rebel going Windows & me eventually going XP it's time I updated to a new
Windows Database.

I have several Rebel databases, each around 100,000 games, meticulously created
mainly from TWIC & Rebel subscription. I can export these to most modern
formats.

The main properties I need in my new database manager are:
Search: by position, by player name, by ELO;
Select: all search results to copy to a new database;
Sort: by date, by player name (w or b), by player rating, by ELO, by moves;
View: After search by position it would be nice to see the next x moves for each
game (like in Rebel display).

I'm sure ChessbaseLight would be perfect except for the 3,000 game limit.

So if anybody would care to recommend a good Freeware Database that will suit my
needs, and if possible the link, I will be much obliged.

Thanks guys,
Tina Long
