Well, the difference is that we do not rely on statistics as you should collecting moves/variations from a database, but we check all the positions and we may select moves/variations with a low score maybe putting some improvements on these lines, adding new moves etc... This means that we do check them and their value. Also the selection is made to give suitable positions to the player which will play them. Also what is the target of a good book? For me it is to help the program to score better. So if this is true what is the meaning of a sentence like "we lost, but we had an advantage after the opening or we lost but this is the preferred line of X player"? So, since in many years work we have refined, extended and so on very many variations, we do not think it is acceptable (in any meaning) that one copy the entire book or a good part of it with (*.*) command. If one would have all the design of F1 Ferrari 2002 should he be allowed to make it exactly the same changing the color to pink or whatever and saying that that's his car? I don't think so. It is the same as copying the opening book. We are not saying that one cannot play the same variation or variations, but the entire collection or a good part of it with refusals etc should not be copied automatically only because it is possible.
