For an official Fide rating the letter of the law would require
strict adherence. But for a reasonable, practical estimation, game90/30 seconds
looks close (but close will be in the eye of the beholder). A 40 move
game will amount to 110 minutes per side, 10 minutes less than 120/game
Fide but a 60 move game would be 120/game exactly. Some may think the increment
is even better as it relieves the pressure of the clock dropping in a won
ending for example.

I think a FIDE blessing on a machine will not happen anyway. From my
take tossing out the results of game 90/30 would be splitting hairs.
It's like the the guitarist's credo when tuning - "close enough
for Rock n' Roll".
