GM Kiriakov usually will talk after game, and offers comments.
this game he would not comment, and quickly left.
first move GM played out of book was 14.Bb5.
score stayed close to 0 until whites move of 25.g4, here program expected
25.Ne2g3. during the game, after this move GM Kiriakov commented he wasnt sure
about this move. after this move, it seemed GM did not have a plan.
Kiriakov set up a wall, and it seemed tiger was willing to draw.
Kiriakov played 30.Ng3, and then later 41.Ne2, which opened up the white king
after the pawn exchange.
Some comments:
1. Tiger plays risky.
2. King safety seems to be at a minimum.
3. I feel GM Kiriakov was constantly on the defense in this game with Tigers
constant pressure on the white king.
4. When using this program, I constantly worry about the eval dropping, and
losing the game.
5. When using Deep Fritz, Deep Shredder, or Crafty, program positions seem to be
solid. King safety usually looks sound.
6. I like Gambit Tiger time management. this program unlike some others,
will use its time to get maximum depth, even when expected move is played, or if
Tiger is up in score.
second game will be Monday night, 9:00 PM ICC time.
