Dan Spraklen is currently working for Fireline Interactive, programing games for
all the leading games consoles. Below is what appears on Fireline Interactives
web site about Dan.

Dan (AI) Spracklen - 3D programmer/AI/Physics
With a freshly minted BA degree in Engineering Mathematics, Dan Spracklen began
his career programming real-world games. These "games" were simulations of
missile trajectories, and missile guidance and control systems for
McDonnell-Douglas. After that he worked on tracking and communications
algorithms for Navy Tactical Data Systems. Then came a 12-year stint programming
computers that played the game of chess. For the past six years Spracklen has
been working at Dynamix. Projects have included the Trophy Bass series, Ultra
3-D Pin Ball, Red Baron, and Desert Fighters. He has specialized in using
artificial intelligence to simulate physical events. Spracklen really gets a
"kick" out modeling real-world objects and behaviors. On Trophy Bass, those
challenges have included everything from fish-fight, to boat collision
detection, to mapping a speed vs. maneuverability strategy for a boat slalom
race. Spracklen loves just about any programming project that sends him pouring
through math and physics books.
