Hi:

I did the relocation of Sargon 1 from the Original TRS 80 to the Trs 80 with
Disk Drives. I also ran the round robin between the various chess computer
programs and hardware programs available at that time. It was published in the
Mag in 1979 I believe. The first rating that was published for Sargon was 1650
or therebouts. The only difference of consequence between 1 and 2 that I
remember was the relocation and some minor changes. I think I still have the
original assembly dissasembly. The original sargon was hand coded without an
assembler. This was one of the problems in relocation. It had to be
dis-assembled and then reassembled. Dan and I spent hours on the phone working
on absolute addresses vice instructions.
