Probably just like a G3 would smoke a G1. :D Heh, it's not nearly that big of a difference. ;) Quadro4 only had some extra features for more speed in applications like Maya, 3D Studios and whatnot. In gaming from what I hear it doesn't make a whole lot of a difference over the top of the line card with the same type of chip (GF4 Ti4600 vs the Quadro4). Yes, it wouldn't be fair to test though anyway. We need everything to be identical.. down to the Detonator drivers, windows patches, etc. minus what drivers are needed for the particular motherboards. If you come down we can throw a lan party.. I already have a linux server setup w/ dhcp enabled that routes my cable modem out.. All you need to do is slap in a nic, hook up & go. I'm throwing a lan party this weekend... if you can figure out which weekend (if you'd like to stay a weekend) you want to do this then you can head down here and we could spend the first day testing, tinkering, etc. I even have a second liquid cooler (minus radiator, but that wouldn't be hard to build) you could put on that P4 for fun. Second day the lan party crew could show up.. beer, nacho's, tons of gaming.. ;) Just let me know. I'm ready whenever.
