It seems rather absurd to expect that every single new engine will eventually prove itself to be the best. That assumption would imply that the process of creating the strongest engine is inevitable. No matter the circumstances, eg. the ability to allocate time, effort and testing. Not to mention the invention and implementation of ideas. The most natural expectation would be an improvement over its predecessor. A requirement that is met quite effectively in most cases. If you assume much more than that, money will appear to be wasted. Regards, Mogens
