I don't know. Maybe you're right, but I feel a person must settle down a bit and
have a bit of sanity, and I don't think my own personal intentions will cause me
to lack very much, if so, please tell me-
I have amd Athlon 1.4 Ghz. the better type. I'm wondering if there is anything
I could get so much better that I shouldn't wait till "Slegehammer" comes out
(and drops in price) before I upgrade again.

Palm- I have my first which is Visor Handspring Neo, 33 Mhz. and 8 MB. I might
like to get the best thing available very soon, esp. if Arm has come out, with
atleast 32MB and good screen etc.(maybe wireless modem?) And leave it at that!

Chess programs- as soon as a program or two come out which has a clear edge
above all the rest, I'll get those, and that's that.(e.g. Genius 3 was clearly
above all others for about 2 years, in its time, and even now isn't nothing. And
Hiarcs 7.0 which is about as good as 7.32 if not a drop better, and came out 6
months earlier, was about the top also for about 2 years [as was Hiarcs 6, also
the top, even if not publicised so much], and even now, Hiarcs 8.0 might not
really be much better than that, and it still holds a reasonable place if used
today).

After those three things, I'll wait atleast two years before I reasess if I ever
want something else, which may only be a Sledgehammer.
