IMO this would result in a kind of "synergy effect". As far as I know, there is nothing in the Winboard protocol that allows for such a thing, so other GUIs would not know how to handle it. The OPK method, while admittedly a bit time-consuming, is effective and works for all WB-compatible GUIs. >Another question: How will the "Follow The Game" exercises work? Sorry, I probably should have elaborated on the two new exercises: Follow the Game -- You are given a list of moves from the beginning of a game, one at a time, both in text and in audio. After reaching the last move (the number of moves depends on the skill level that you choose), you must set up the position that results from that move list. Remember the Position -- A bit more obvious. You are shown a position (which you can examine for as long as you like) and you then must recreate it from an empty board. The total number of pieces depends on the skill level. >P.S. No chance to have an improved notation display this time (flow text >notation)? I hereby increase the number of suggestion for that to *4* :o) Sorry, I'm not familiar with the "flow text notation" term. Could you explain it further? jm
