Actually, while very compact, it isn't terribly weak. When you can beat TSCP,
you have a fairly strong engine.

For at least some versions, all of these are probably weaker than TSCP:

31337
Aldebaran
Blikskottel
DChess
EnginMax
Golem01
LarsenVB {Open Source}
LordKing
MFChess {Open Source, Also rather buggy}
Mint
Monik
MSCP {Open Source}
Mustang
NeroWB {Open Source}
Noonian
Ozwald
Raffaela
SnailSCP
Storm
Tamerlane {Open Source}
Zephyr

Here are some really weak ones:
ChadChess {Strongest of this bunch, but still a pushover. You will beat it as a
human with ease}
Pyotr {Open Source -- Java.  Probably the world's weakest Winboard program}
LaMoSca {Open Source -- another contender for weakest, but loses on time a lot}
Sachy {Open Source -- could be weakest}
KACE {Open Source.  Very weak and also rather buggy...}

Recommended sparring partner is Golem. It isn't very strong and yet it is
stable and does not do stupid things like emit illegal moves or lose on time for
no apparent reason.
